The Colonel Nesmith Readiness in Dallas, Oregon earned the Design Build Institute of America’s National Design-Build Award for Civic Buildings.
The project, led by Lease Crutcher Lewis along with THA Architecture, is a two-building, 40,000-sf multi-purpose facility that integrates the community with training of the Oregon Army National Guard soldiers. The first new readiness center built in Oregon within the last 50 years, this center blends gracefully with its rural surroundings providing open views of the landscape and includes ample use of lumber and skylights. Incorporating many sustainable features, the project is pending LEEDTM Gold certification.
Congratulations to the team!
