You will:

• Work on projects varying in size from a single day’s effort to large projects with construction values in excess of $400 million
• Build upon your design experience in concrete, steel, timber, and masonry structures, as well as seismic engineering
• Work on projects across a variety of market sectors including healthcare, education, commercial and multi-residence living
• Work closely with Principals and other senior-level staff who are fully engaged in our projects and your mentorship
• Develop your career in structural engineering quickly, in a manner that you will determine and guide.

You have:

• 2 to 5 years of experience and an MS or M.Eng degree in Civil Engineering
• Strong technical, organizational and communication skills
• Passion and dedication to advance your learning, individual growth, and take on challenges
• The ability to be self-directed
• A desire to work in a highly collaborative, dynamic and fun team focused environment
• The ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future

Our projects vary in size from a single day’s effort to large projects with construction values in excess of $400 million. You will grow your project management experience and direct client interaction on a wide variety of project types including buildings created for healing, learning, living, and interacting.

Our culture is embedded in learning and applying our expertise to projects that require creative structural engineering. You will work closely with Principals who are fully engaged in projects and provide daily mentorship. Our open office environment provides an atmosphere that fosters teamwork, impromptu learning sessions, and optimum communication. We constantly seek highly qualified engineers/project managers with 8+ years of structural engineering and 3+ years of project management experience. We seek individuals with a variety of structural engineering/project management on facilities dedicated to healing, learning, living, and interacting. Due to the technical complexity and challenge of many of our projects, we seek engineers that have earned a Master’s degree, and are striving toward/earned licensure as a Structural Engineer. We seek motivated and self-directed individuals that have a desire to learn, grow, and be challenged. In addition to the above mentioned qualifications, the ideal candidate will have a goal of advancing into the position of Principal/shareholder at catena. While we have a small firm setting, we offer salary and benefits of a large firm, and then some.
