The Hillsboro Intermodal Transit Facility is a 269,000-square-foot, five-story structure featuring 794 parking spaces, 20,000 square feet of ground-level retail, a 1,200-square-foot bike commuter station and 13 state-of-the-art car charging stations. Needing to meet strict acoustic and vibration criteria, the project used concrete and post tensioning tendons. With a team led by a Design-Build contractor, the project was completed in 2010 with $13.2 Million in construction costs and LEED certification.
