Providence Newberg Medical Plaza

Providence Newberg Medical Plaza is a 64,000-square-foot, three-story medical office building completed in 2019 with $46.7 million in construction costs. The building is comprised of steel frame construction with concrete on metal deck and steel moment frames. A unique system was used to eliminate the need for concrete shear walls, erecting structural steel in seven days and shortening the overall construction duration by almost two months. The use of steel moment frames provided Providence the greatest future flexibility for reorganizing their clinical program.
