Eugene, Oregon

Owner: University of Oregon

Architect: Opsis Architecture | Rowell Brokaw Architects

This century-old dormitory was upgraded to include tenured offices for professors. The 82,000-square-foot, four-story project included a seismic upgrade and a two-story addition to house a 200-seat, multi-level lecture hall in addition to classrooms. Completed in 2015 with $22 million in construction costs and LEED Gold Certification, the balanced structure’s acoustical and lighting needs were met.
