Providing structural design for the seismic strengthening of this turn-of -the-century four story unreinforced masonry building. The building will be converted to housing for mentally challenged individuals, with rehabilitative services provided for residents. The design criteria will be ASCE-31, thus saving construction costs for the owner/developer, which can be re-directed to program.
